Ruth Mudge
Ruth Mudge, a former native of Connecticut, is a cello instructor and performer in the Chicago area. She received her Masters of Music at DePaul University and her Bachelors of Music from Wheaton College. She studied with teachers such as Stephen Balderston, Tanya Carey, and Daniel Davies. Ruth teaches at the String Academy of Chicago, Naperville North High School, and Naperville Central High School as well as being the Assistant Principal in the Elmhurst Symphony. Ruth was an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago in 2009-10 and participated in their MusiCorps program presenting chamber music throughout Chicago. Ruth is a member of the Skyline String Quartet and other ensembles in the larger Chicago area. When Ruth is not teaching or performing, she plays at her church in Wheaton and loves to cook and read.
